What happens when permissions are disabled for a user?

In Sendigram, an admin can disable a user's permissions to temporarily block access without permanently deleting their account. This is useful for employees on leave, external contractors between projects, or as a security measure.

1. What "Disabled Permissions" Means

  • The user's account remains in the system, but:
    • They cannot log in.
    • Any active sessions are immediately ended.
    • Their role is suspended until re-enabled.

2. What Happens to Their Work

  • Campaigns: Scheduled or ongoing campaigns created by the user continue to run as planned.
  • Templates & Groups: Assets remain in the account and accessible to other team members.
  • Reports: Campaign history and analytics created by the user remain available.

In other words, disabling a user only affects login access, not the assets they created.

3. Re-Enabling Permissions

  • An admin can re-enable a user at any time:

       1. Go to Account Settings → Users.
       2. Find the disabled user.
       3. Click Enable User.

  • The user regains their role with full access rights.

4. Limitations of Disabled Users

  • Cannot log in until permissions are restored.
  • Cannot receive team notifications or alerts within Sendigram.
  • Cannot be assigned new roles until re-enabled.
