Understanding Automation Templates
Automation templates in Sendigram EMS are pre-built workflows designed to help you launch effective campaigns quickly — without starting from scratch.
Each template contains predefined triggers, email sequences, and timing rules tailored to a specific marketing goal.
You can use templates as they are or fully customize them to match your audience, brand, and tone.
How to Access Templates
You can access templates when creating a new automation:
- Go to Automations → New Automation.
- Choose "Use one of our pre-built automations."
- A menu will open with available templates.
- Click a template to preview its structure and start customizing.
Once selected, the workflow will automatically appear in your Automation Builder, pre-filled with all triggers and sample email content.
Available Templates
Sendigram EMS currently offers five ready-to-use automation templates, each designed for a different communication goal:
1. Product Introduction

3. Reactivation
Goal: Re-engage inactive subscribers.

- Offer incentives for returning customers.
4. Event Warm-Up
Goal: Invite contacts to join an upcoming webinar, podcast, or event.
Trigger: Immediately after signup or registration.

- Increase attendance.
- Offer post-event follow-ups and bonuses.
5. Abandoned Cart
Goal: Recover lost sales by reminding users about their incomplete purchases.
Trigger: 30 minutes after cart abandonment.
Sequence: Five emails sent over several days, offering reminders, testimonials, and discounts.
Use this to:
- Bring customers back to checkout.
- Offer time-limited promotions.
- Increase purchase completion rates.
Customizing Templates
Once a template is loaded into the builder, you can:
- Edit email content — modify text, subject lines, preheaders, and designs.
- Change triggers — adjust conditions (e.g., time delays, event types).
- Add or remove steps — include additional actions or rules.
- Adjust timing — change delays between emails or actions.
- Replace emails — choose your own templates or upload HTML versions.
Each element in the template is editable through its settings panel inside the Automation Builder.
